With a track record of success in facilitating funding for sectors like housing, care, education, real estate, and alternative lending, their expertise is unmatched. Our client is not limited to the conventional; they also specialise in illiquid and distressed debt, opening doors to unique opportunities in the bond market.

The client is expanding their fixed income secondary trading and sales capacity and need a skilled Fixed Income Analyst to help drive further success. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for in-depth analysis of bond market issues and issuers, covering IG, sub-IG, and unrated credit. They are particularly interested in individuals who can add value to their coverage of UK Housing Associations, Real Estate, and Financials.

Your role will be to bridge the gap between the DCM team and Fixed Income sales and trading desk, contributing to their mission of responsible finance.

To excel in this role, you should have:

In-depth knowledge of credit, with experience from sell-side, buy-side, or independent analysis companies.

Proficiency in reading and analysing financial statements

An understanding of corporate structures and their impact on credit

Familiarity with the real estate sector (an advantage)

Strong numerical and communication skills

Familiarity with the Bloomberg Terminal

Excellent proficiency in MS Word and Excel

The ability to produce high-quality analysis for regular publication

Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills

The ability to produce actionable research that adds value to our client's portfolios

Sell-side experience is a pre-requisite; buy-side experience will not be considered at this time.

Ideally, you have or are working towards the IMC or CFA (part qualified) and hold a relevant degree.
