Platinum & Partners is working with a proprietary trading firm operating systematic and discretionary strategies across global futures markets. They are hiring experienced Futures Derivatives Traders across two locations — Mumbai and Dubai and offering one of the strongest PnL split structures available in the market today.
The firm trades CME, CBOT, Comex and Nymex products and is looking for traders with genuine expertise in spread trading, calendar spreads, curve trading, arbitrage and butterfly strategies. This is not a single-contract role — they want traders who can operate across multiple products, take full ownership of execution and risk, and generate consistent, disciplined returns.

THE ROLE
- Trade firm capital across CME, CBOT, Comex and Nymex futures using discretionary, semi-systematic or systematic strategies
- Execute across multiple products and asset classes - diversification is encouraged, single-contract traders need not apply
- Take full ownership of pricing, execution, risk management and PnL- this is a high-accountability seat
- Continuously analyse and refine strategies in response to market conditions and live performance data
- For traders with the appetite: develop or evolve toward systematic and semi-systematic trading frameworks with engineering support available
- Operate within firm risk parameters with strict discipline around drawdowns and risk controls
WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years of buy-side futures trading experience at a proprietary trading firm or hedge fund — across CME, CBOT, Comex or Nymex
- Proven track record in discretionary or semi-systematic strategies: spread trading, calendar spreads, curve trading, arbitrage, butterflies and related structures
- Strong understanding of risk controls, money management, order management and where applicable regulatory compliance
- Full accountability mindset — you own your book, your decisions and your drawdowns
- Ability to trade across multiple products and underlying asset classes
- Consistency and structured decision-making are non-negotiable; this is not a firm for undisciplined trading
- Point-and-click traders are welcome; so are those already transitioning toward automated or systematic frameworks
